The vision of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights and there is no racial hatred or racial discrimination.
NAACP MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of right of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.
Note: Contributions or gifts to this NAACP Branch are generally not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income Tax purposes. This NAACP Branch is a 501(c) (4) non-profit organization. However, the portion that is remitted to the National Office of NAACP, a 501(c) (3) organization, qualifies as a charitable deduction.
